No previous experience in Shopify is required. Our course modules start with the basics and gradually increase in complexity, making sure you're comfortable every step of the way.
YES! This is an exciting and unique feature of our Program. You will choose from 3 concept brands to build out an entire site using our supplied brand assets, imagery and copy - leaving you with a tangible portfolio piece (or 3).
Absolutely! I encourage every student who is building out their concept stores to submit their designs and I can provide you with a recorded Loom feedback video, allowing you to make refinements and receive personalised tips and tricks for your design/s.
Not really. Although we do cover alot of useful information relating to designing Shopify websites, our course content has been structured specifically for Designers.

We don’t pretend to be a one-size-fits-all Shopify Program and there are some aspects of Shopify we don’t cover, including liquid language, html and JSON/Javascript. We leave these to the other course creators who already serve up some fantastic course content around this specific skillset.
Elevate with eCommerce was created to fill the gap for Designers who love the platform, love to customise & design but do not want to spend their days writing code. As a Designer who has spent the last 8 years successfully building a Design business without a tonne of coding knowledge, I know its possible for others to do the same! We are not a foundational course, we are not a coding course, we exist to help Designers gain a holistic understanding of Shopify’s features and capabilities all while gaining expert guidance on attracting clients, project managing, designing (of course), customising and launching stunning Shopify Stores for clients.
You will learn how to leverage some CSS in order to add custom fonts, add section-specific styling and make customisations to existing premium and free Shopify themes. In no way do I call myself a Developer BUT I have learnt ALOT when it comes to CSS in the last 2 years and I impart ALL of these tips and tricks to you inside the Program.

I recommend committing 5-6 hours per week to the course content & to designing out your own Concept Brand Stores. I would predict you would finalise your course content and site Designs within 2-3 months of starting your journey, therefore you can expect to take on Client Projects very quickly!
Definitely not. Each step is demonstrating how to design out your store inside Shopify’s Free Theme and each skill is transferrable to any Shopify Premium Theme.
You will have access to all course content, resources & the Student Dashboard for 18 months, after which you will be offered a yearly Membership to continue access at $199USD per year. You will receive a reminder email before your renewal rolls around so you can be sure to stay organised and keep access if you wish. (The $199 fee will not be direct debited or charged to you without your approval first).
As the Shopify Platform is an ever-evolving beast, it costs a tremendous amount of time and money to continue to update The Program to ensure it is as up to date as possible. Therefore, it is important that continued running costs are able to be covered in order to continue delivering the very best in relevant course content for the Platform.
I also feel it is important to get stuck into the course content asap. Giving you lifetime access means you are less likely to commit to The Program & it’s completion. This Program will only work as hard as you do.

Great question! As most… actually, ALL of the tech I run to keep Elevate with eCommerce operational charges us in USD, it makes more sense to have our fees in USD to allow us to pay our bills in USD as well, rather than paying banks currency exchange fees (they already earn enough profits!) 🤗
