3 Shopify Designs Myths, Busted.

💥 MYTH #1 💥

You need to learn code in order to offer Shopify Services.

⚡️BUSTED! Here’s why:

Shopify is theme/template-based, and you don't need to build sites from scratch to be a successful Shopify Designer. I'm living proof! I've designed sites for clients for over 8 years with minimal coding experience. In the last 18 months, I've learned simple CSS tricks to enhance premium themes, all of which I share in my Shopify Program. Don't let anyone tell you that you must learn code – it's not true! 🛒💡

💥 MYTH #2 💥

You need to be an absolute Shopify Wizard before offering services.

⚡️BUSTED! Here’s why:

Shopify Clients aren’t looking for custom made, super-expensive, incredibly complicated Website Builds. Here is what ecomm Clients value most - saving time, focusing on what they’re good at (vs. wasting hours trying to figure out how to add a product or customise a theme) and knowing that someone can take a job of their endless list of to-do’s as a Founder and know that’ll it’ll be taken care of and they can sell their products at the end.

Expertise grows through practice and refinement. I didn't become a Shopify expert overnight. I learned by doing and working on numerous client projects. You don't need to be an expert initially; you just need to master efficient methods, which I teach in The Shopify Program 🤗

💥 MYTH #3 💥

There are already too many Designers offering Shopify.

⚡️BUSTED! Here’s why:

If this were true, I wouldn’t have some of my Alumni Students booked out till Q2 next year. There is space, there is room and it isn’t too late to upskill, gain confidence and hit the ground running with new service offerings in 2024. Trust me, this space is big enough for all of us to comfortably be booking out our Studio’s months in advance  📈
